Rickie Lambert to Saints
I missed this thread before, but Reading definitely sent scouts on multiple occasions to Bristol Rovers to watch Lambert - I think that was probably in 2008-09 and I expect most clubs at Championship level would have been looking at him. Our scouts' recommendation to Coppell was not to pursue him.
