Shame for the Shots, I find it an odd decision by Waddock really, considering Wycomb's position he could easily see the clubs positions reversed in a year. It's very early I guess.

Always like to see Aldershot do well, would freaking love to see a local derby back again in the league.

'greed about the derby.

I think it's a step up certainly. In terms of club size, stadium, facilities, infrastructure, fan base. You could argue there may have been better job offers later perhaps.

Thing is m8 we rarely have been dogshit. Our problem has simply been turning draws into wins by not scoring enough. We've played fairly well in most games this season. Our goal difference is now +2 and we haven't lost a game by more than 2 goals all season.

We've changed personell quite drastically over the course of the season but now FINALLY we have a settled and balanced side with one or two of the younger players playing really well. Also the addition of Guy Branston and re inclusion of our left back Kevin Nicholson has massively helped because our back 5 until recently were all under 24/25.

Torquay's last 4 games have been against Shrewsbury, Northampton, Rochdale and Aldershot. 10 points, 1 goal conceeded 9 scored we are all but safe and could end up finishing midtable, If I'm being honest we should have been there all along realy.

Looking in...Torquay have always been a relatively poor side.

I like Torquay, let's hope they can build on things next season and chase promotion....
