I can't believe Bahrain could be in the world cup!I assume Australia have already qualified? Btw Slovakia qualify for their 1st big tournament if they draw with Slovenia. Slovensko do toho!

Malawi 1-1 Ivory Coast. Ivory Coast qualify for the World Cup (though even if they, lost Burkina Faso who are 2nd in the group would have had to overturn a worse goal difference of 15 in just 2 games to overtake them)

Germany safe now. 1-0 in Moscow exceeds all expectations. I must admit that I have a soft spot for Miroslaw Klose.
He's just average, very average. Says a lot how poor the england keepers are these days that we are weighing up him and james, both wouldn't get in any other top 20 team in the world.
