I can't believe Bahrain could be in the world cup!I assume Australia have already qualified? Btw Slovakia qualify for their 1st big tournament if they draw with Slovenia. Slovensko do toho!

just seen hundreds of Swiss fans hanging around for the Luxembourg national stadium (capacity 7 000 approx) to open.

I usually go to the home internationals, but cannot go today.

Allez les Lions Rouges, do the double over these invaders.

Church playing up front. Missed the first half but he looked OK in the half time analysis.

Malawi 1-1 Ivory Coast. Ivory Coast qualify for the World Cup (though even if they, lost Burkina Faso who are 2nd in the group would have had to overturn a worse goal difference of 15 in just 2 games to overtake them)

Green sent off after bringing down player in the box. Shevvy misses the penalty so its still 0-0 with an hour to go. Lennon got taken off to get James on. Tis on 5 Live for anyone interested.

England: Ruh-roh!

Germany: Boateng sent off on 69'; still lead 0-1

Bosnia-Herzegovina one up in Estonia --second place in Group Five is theirs (at Turkey's expense) if it holds

More fuel for the 'Rob Green is a disaster waiting to happen' fire. One I have reason to stoke regularly alas. 1-0 now as well.

Germany safe now. 1-0 in Moscow exceeds all expectations. I must admit that I have a soft spot for Miroslaw Klose.

He's just average, very average. Says a lot how poor the england keepers are these days that we are weighing up him and james, both wouldn't get in any other top 20 team in the world.

Paul Robinson has always been our best keeper.
