Does Trappatoni know nothing then gr8 m8? He said Given is the 2nd best keeper in the world after Buffon. Not sure I'd go as far as th@ but he is far more consistent than Petr the h@.

2 of those managers have inherited him. I don't think any manager would actively go out and try replace him, he is still a decent keeper but if you had both keepers at one club and were picking, I'd personally go for Seamus.

Thought Chelsea did well at the weekend and put up a good fight despite the obvious financial disparity between the teams. Showed plenty of fight and good team spirit against a team who are just splashing the cash to buy the league

Shay Given has always been a quality keeper and must have single handedly won Newcastle shed loads of points year upon year. It was only when he left that they went down. Tbf he's not as good as Cech was 4 years ago.

Is it slightly wrong that I view Cech as our remaining mark on the Premiership? He is though. He's the main reason why neutrals will remember Reading.
