TBM LOL where's Jay now??MessiahTBM Its no secret that Villa want Doyle - as do Everton & Birmingham. Why you think Wolves would let him leave for a loss of £1.5m is a mystery, considering he's been one of their best players this season - plus he's only 26 years old, an Irish international and still has about 10 years left in him........Anything less than £10m for Doyle and Wolves wont accept - they have no need to.
I didn't know for certain what he was sold for, so in that case, £6.5m is about his top value. He hasn't hit the net regularly this season, again, but is a worker, and is an asset. Just because you say Villa have shown interest previously doesn't mean they'd be prepared to spend £10m on someone who isn't a regular goalscorer at that level.
I cannot see how anyone can value him at £10m when he doesn't have the scoring record to back it up.Messiah You're still "assuming" those clubs are interested in him. You don't know they are, so as I have an opinion on value, and you have your opinion on his interest. I just don't see anyone willing to pay £10m for a striker that isn't consistent at that level.
Sorry, has he signed for Arsenal?
