Suarez is extremely tasty and, with Forlan, I think they might rip Gallas and company a new one. France appear to be a l'accident de voiture waiting to happen.

2-1 to Uruguay.

Not exactly a thrilling start, but Forlan test Lloris on the quarter hour.

Gourcouff tries a Sig at the near post from a wide free kick. Beaten away.

Can I say early on (again) that Gourcuff is a f**king legend. Awesome player and LOLz @ Milan for letting him go by accident and then begging him to return.

Went to Milan as a youngster, didn't make many appearances (though when did looked good) so Milan loaned him to Bordeaux for the season a couple of years back, has a f**king immense season for them and at the end Milan expect him to return. Turns out the Milan manager, owner and seemingly everyone connected with the club didn't know they had put a buy out clause into the loan deal. Milan publicly talk him up stating he is the future of Milan etc, Gourcuff says they should have treated him better had they wanted him to stay, gives them the finger and signs for Bordeaux.

One of my favourite players around Europe. On his day the boy is epic.

Total goals is two goals or less - I win. Total goals is three goals or more - I lose....so 2.5 seems to me to be the logical demarkation point.

LOL at the Suarez love on here - he plays for a fabulously creative team and he's a quality finisher but he doesn't add much to the play itself. He needs chances to be created for him.

under 3 goals would do it too, surely?

Diaby, best player on the pitch, but Gallas owned by Forlan.

France to win.

To piss Spacey off probberz

So Uruguay park the bus (successfully), spring the occasional counter but can't get the numbers forward to exploit it, and a half a dozen white shirts mop up and send it back down the other end, where they proceed to seek and find the next available blind alley

::zzzzzzz:: and vuvuzeLOLas, more or less

LUX under 3 goals would do it too, surely?

Under 2.5 goals - back / lay
Over 2.5 goals - back / lay

or

Under 3 goals - back / lay
Three goals or more - back / lay

2.5 looks right to me

The disappointment was that it wasn't a str8 red, as it should have been. How he will hold his head up high with the Uruguayan gr8s of the past, I don't know.

How good was Diaby, how shit was Suarez?

I liked Uruguay's fukk you to the whole concept of attacking full backs. 6 men behind the ball at all times. Refreshing cynicism.

Hadn't heard much about Suarez but LOL@Dutch football if he scored as close to a million goals as he did.

Every time I watch Diaby I think "What does he actually do?". Well, tonight he passed the ball around really well and showed why Wenger likes him.

He doesn't like it up 'im though, so he might struggle against the hassling Mexicans.

I like Diaby, good Passer, Great Challenger and tonight showed he can go on the odd run skinning a few before playing someone in.
