As Arsenal didn't have a single shot (the first time ever in a CL knock out match according to Opta) then whinging about RVP getting sent off as affecting the game is simply rubbish.

Arsenal were beaten the second Fabregas tried a fancy back heel on his own 18yd line that gifted Barcelona the first goal, and the fact is, if the ref was biased why didn't he give a pen in the first half when Messi was tripped by Djouru right on the line (the line is in btw)?

Arsenal are the least well equipped English team to deal with Barcelona; you can't imagine anyone else giving that Barcelona midfield the time and space to weave their magic.

Doesn't the worlds greatest striker's fall over and hit the ball, not count as a shot?

I don't think Arsenal did try to park the bus, their formation wasn't set up to do so it was as much of an attacking team as they usually play, they were just under so much pressure they couldn't get any clear cut chances. And tbh, everyone knows Arsenal can't absorb pressure very well.

He didn't even manage to accidentally push it forward though!

PlasticRoyale I think we've established that footballers are all cheating pcunts.....

Spot on-some like Ronaldo and Nani are just better at doing it than most of the others.
In our team Mills tries to dive but is embarrassing whereas Hunt and Long are very good at it.
They aren't however anywhere near Nani and Ronaldo but if by some fluke we were to get promoted it might not take them too long to catch up.

I don't think I have ever seen a defender dive quite as frequently as Mills.
