Victor Meldrew What views are you on about your holiness?
My view is that people who work together very quickly establish a rapport and know the boundaries,it's called getting on with people- try to understand how people get on in relationships and you might get a more pragmatic sense of what goes on in the world rather than what should go on in the world, especially that modern world that you pontificate about.
You also do seem too easily shocked as demonstrated by overuse of theemoticom.

Focherbrendywendy an england where a man could belittle women whenever he pleased, beat his wife, and still expect his dinner on the table when he got home from work.ahhhhhh what a country that was
you know what i mean Brendy, because we both know that in our lifetime that isnt really the case (generally i mean).
The way this country and others are going we wont be allowed to have a piss in our own homes with fear of getting the sack or getting sued.

Victor Meldrewsusieroyal Obviously not read all that and find the whole thing a bit meh really. The sexism in sport arguement bores me a little bit to be honest. We all know its there, it probably shouldn't be, it probably always will be. I'm from the "oh well, just get on with it" opinion.
Stupid more than anything to get caught saying it. Surely they've worked in TV long enough to know people may still be recording them.
As for sexual harrassment at work, personally I think it depends massively on the relationship between staff.
Yesterday a male teacher heard me say to a student "come and see me after school and we'll go through your coursework". After the kid had gone he said "can I come and see you after school and go through you?". Not harrassment in my book as I'm good friends with him and give as much banter as get. If some other members of staff had said it
Well said Susie-tell that to people like brendy and RR who live in their own dreamworld that they call this modern world and in which they never say anything bordering on risque and look down on the rest of mankind from their lofty perches and fail to see that there is anything wrong in those that tell teacher.

RedZammoRed Also - I've now listened to Keys whole interview with talksport
(can be found here http://www.juicefm.com/news?id=25877 if anyone's interested)
He comes across as a nasty, angry and arrogant little man who is simply sorry he got caught, not actually sorry at all. Didn't really have a view on him before this whole sexism thing kicked off but I'm beginning to really dislike him now.
Just listening to it all now. You've got to agree with Keys on the Karen Brady episode. But yes, his tone isn't too apologetic. In fact, my defence of him has slightly lowered.
Yes agree with him about Brady - and ordinarily it would be quite amusing - but the fact he's used this interview to lay into her shows what a nasty piece of work he is.

Royalee I can just see ITV sacking those bints from Loose Women for implying men don't do enough around the house. Watching the NTA's now some of the stuff they're saying is far worse than Keys and Gray, yet nobody will accuse them of sexism because it's a one way street.

SLAMMED I've always liked Richard Keys, and listening to that interview on Talksport, I don't really think he could have come across in any other way.
But then obviously all of you who are passing judgement on him have never made a sexist remark ever.

Red He kept saying "I've apologised" but seemed to really struggle throughout the whole 40 minutes to actually do so.
He could have come in sheepish, said I've been an idiot and I'm very sorry. What you got was a 40 minute rant about how this is all so unfair.
So can't agree SLAMMED, can't agree at all.
