No Fixed Abode 8,000 empty seats at City last night v Roma.

Stadium Expansion

As pointed out by many journos, they sell out for most home games, so a stadium expansion makes perfect sense...

But can't sell out for a Champions League game, so where has the extra demand gone?

Maybe they're back to being Man United fans

Now there's a ground that's empty on Champions League nights

Who knows, cost of tickets probably has a lot to do with it through what are still very hard times for all of us. Nevertheless, the demand is there otherwise, so an expansion makes sense.

Anyone care to hazard a guess on the amount of empty seats at the Etihad tonight?

I reckon, 20,000.

City making the same mistakes this season as they did the last time they won the PL. I'm sure they'll go on to win tonight, but they look a shadow of the team that they were last year. Just don't look arsed.

Think you've said it there tbf m8. No, not really. Not everyone can go to every game. Priorities.

Has it been that long? I knew Ryan Taylor had been injured - remembered him for scoring a hatful of spectacular long-range goals a few seasons back. Returned from a 26-month lay-off last night.

absolute toilet from City. Could have been down to 8 men at the end.

They really were quite poor.

No idea what Yaya was up to. I don't care if you're frustrated, you're better than that. Just get on with it.

City have gone now for me. No chance.

A Man City Champions' League group game is probably the last place a football fan would look for compelling watching, but it was quite watching the end of that last night.

Would City fans be proud of Toure and Nasri? At least they cared enough to lash out at the end. Clichy's performance would be more of a concern.

Despite City breaking FFP rules, Pellegroani wins manager of the month for December even though City had easy fixtures.

Jose went the best part of 4 months unbeaten and didn't win it.

Still, that manager of the month curse hit City today.
