Sounds to me like Wycombe Royal and John 31watsit are a couple of woofters who want to hide behind anonymous snitching hotlines and have stewards fight their battles  I'll wager they're the kind of fans that wear replica shirts and dance along to tom hark too  MY advice to the pair of you would be to stop acting like such babies and learn how to behave like proper fans - like the ones you've been describing.

And bring back the good old days of the mid 80's. Proper football fans we had in England in them days. Duh, ok George.

Dirk Gently Which is why more and more clubs are publishing a text number that supporters can report such things to in confidence.

Usually all most clubs need is the block, row and seat number and they'll investigate.

Dirk,

do RFC have that text no?

Does Hob Nob have one too?

If it was racism then I think it can be reported straight to the Kick Racism Out website.

Must be sad supporting Reading, no one hates you, you hate no one, you're just basically no marks plugging along.

All the best.

Conratulations, you have encapsulated better than anybody on here possibly could why everybody regards Man Utd "fans" as clueless plastics.

Go and spend another £100million and bask in some kind of reflected glory of another title bought.

Sad though, that you'll only ever know the price of success, and never the value of it.

No. They are working on setting one up, though.

 I thought the "hanging from a tree" bit was a reference to them saying he was a monkey - hence also the HIV comment, as it originated from monkeys. That was how I read it and what I deem to be possibly more racist and abusive than the "lynching" comments.

There was me thinking the link between hanging and Judas didn't really need any further explanation nor analysis. Silly me.

If I had heard the Malteser comments I am sure I would have literally dropped my picnic hamper on the spot and chased the rotter out of the "Mad Stad"...

Jeez how my middle class is football these days?

I know what you are thinking, nostaglia is not what it used to be, but you will be saying next that it is unhygenic for me to urinate down a rolled up newspaper when the need arises (and not just at football matches).

One of the last bastions of the working class man's weekend enjoyment spoilt by policitical correctness and middle class nouveau "footie" fans.

Not necessarily. They're calling him Judas because he used to play for them and moved to Arsenal aren't they? I think you give these "fans" too much credit - they're scum of low intelligence. I still believe that it's perfectly feasible that how I read it could be correct.

Perhaps I'm crediting the Yiddos with too much 'intelligence', but surely when they say 'hanging from a tree' they're referring to scenes such as this one?

'Clever' reference to Campbell being a bit of a fruit, too.

I'd say the hanging from a tree bit is more a jibe based on his mental state than anything else. It may be a racist reference to lnyching, but I think it's more just the case it scans well for the chant.

The HIV comment is because he's rumoured to be as bent as a two bob note.

It probably over steps the mark a little, but if thats the case then the Police should've stepped in and not just referred it to the FA because they couldn't be bothered to stop it on the day. I'm a bit fed up that football fans are treated the way they are. Racism is still prevalent in our society, as are homophobic tendancies and I don't see why football fans should be clamped down on more than other areas of our lives.

The views might not be nice, but if expressing them is breaking a law then let the law chase it up.
