TheMaraudingDog There’s got to be a funnier joke than that one out there, you know, what’s the difference between Ronaldo and Diana or something along those lines…

One's a cheating c***, the other's a Portuguese footballer?

Very good.

One was famous for going down at the slightest provocation...the other plays on the wing for United.

Mr Angry The insurance would be astronomical; value of vehicle, age and occupation of driver, and possibly location.

Probably would have got it through a specialist broker as its not the sort of thing Direct Line would do!!

£8-10k i would guess.

The news said that "he won't be looking forward to the time when he has to renew his insurance, currently at £12k for the car"

To be fair, it may go up but it will still be peanuts to him.

Today the UK's insurers seemed to be in an unforgiving mood to offer him a new insurance deal.

A spokesman for the AA said a quick ring-round of its insurers had failed to elicit a single offer.

"We cannot find anybody who would touch him with a bargepole," said a spokesman. "The minimum age to get insured for that car would be 25 and then the best price we could find would be £44,000 but if the person had had an accident that would go up to around £100,000."
