I suspect so, Webb went straight to his earpiece and changed his mind. The pundits mentioned that they could be trying out video techonology more and more in future tournaments, as they did for the Zidane headbutt in 2006.

I can see it as only a good thing - that incident yesterday didn't stop play at all, its not like in cricket where you're all stood around waiting for a decision - a quick rewind to see if the ball crossed the line or not, or if someone handled or not.
