Stoke leading again, Fuller's second. Arsenal raped for pace down the right by Sidibe

Whatever anyone's gripe with Stoke, they play football to what Tony Pulis sees as their strengths. Football is football, no matter how it's played. They offer a different angle to the Premier League, and I actually quite enjoy it. I don't hold grudges against teams for the way they play.

Channel flicking again Ian?

It's not like they're just a lump it up to the big men team. They've played some tidy direct attacking football.

3-1 Stoke now. Chelsea the only one of the "Big 4" left in the 5th round

FOUR!!!

disallowed for handball.

It's looking more and more like our best chance to have a real go at the cup.

Would you really want to watch that week in week out though?

Sure they play to their strengths but is dreadful to watch.

Football is football, however it's played fella. I love the game, but I personally don't care how a team plays, only that they play fair and honestly, a lot to ask in the Premier League but Stoke did just that today. One of my major gripes with the game is that so many people talk about "playing football the proper way". Is there really a proper way to play it? Like f*ck is there :|

There's a good post by DG on the other thread and its got some merits.

I like the idea of an arms race - in order to combat one innovation, teams make changes. But changing the roles or positions of one player makes gaps somewhere else.

Good to see..

ITV might be worried though if City go out and they want the "big boys" in for ratings.

couple of big teams drawn against each other in the next round (Chelsea vs Villa for example) and the cup could end up very exciting with a lower league team in with a shout.

THis already looks like it's going to be an absolute rout.

EDIT: Well that shows the importance of not making a judgment too soon.

there looked to be a huge gulf in class in the first few minutes, but Citeh have just stopped the passing and movement that was cutting Scunny apart.

Offside goal aside, Scunny should feel a bit gutted being down at HT. They missed some gilt-edged chances
