Sorry to demean this thread, but why was the Celtic 'keeper wearing a holster in the Old Firm match?

Pretty awful game according to the live text commentary I saw, and the straight red was said to be a bit harsh --wudja think?

Oh, and how many arms d'ya see get struck by the ball in the sequence that starts here?

shock horror, yet another key decision goes against celtic, not only have have the referees made game-changing errors in all old firm games this season to the benefit of rangers, it happens in almost every league game this season and the common denominator is it happens against celtic, i expect the odd shite decision but two or three per game is beyond belief, the game there has no integrity anymore, i can't be bothered with it, celtic are not a good team at the moment but they are still miles better than a dogged yet severely limited rangers side

as i said the game has lost its integrity up there, the standard of football is bad enough but when the officiating is the worst i have ever seen in my life watching football and so skewes against on team it really is time to walk away from showing any kind of interest in the Scottish game

congrats on another titles to rangers/SFA/officialdom.

lol celtic have been getting horrendous decisions every season other than this, don't pretend you've followed them enough to know. Ask the normal SPL fans and they'll tell you celtic/rangers are two sides of the coin. Shock horror, celtic only complain when it goes against them like this season, not when they've benefited in previous seasons at places like hearts and dunee utd. Pathetic cringe worthy club who once again disrupted a minutes silence and were waving Argentina flags at the Falklands veteran at half time.

Two years ago the SPL handed celtic the title when Rangers were made to play 4 games in 8 days. 2 Cup Finals , 1 League deciding Game. Complete Bias in celtic favour.

LOL at the reply from a Hearts fan below when Celtic went to their forum to ask for support in their petty campaign.

""You come to our town, you piss in our streets, you spit on our fans, you boo schoolkids on the pitch, you sing pro-terrorist songs. You disrespect the country the mass majority of your fans were born and bred in, the country that houses you, provides you with work (or more likely gives you dole money to buy baby Henrik's new Sellick top) by persisting with your faux Irish crap - you cannot acknowledge Scotland's troops, it's flag or it's people. FFS your supporters couldn't even show respect for a dead firefighter!"

Jennyjambo "

Celtic are pish, get over it

the game changing decision went against celtic? lol

edu should have had a penalty way before brown got sent off

n'guemo should have walked for his late late tackle on boyd

brown's sending off may, in some peoples eyes, have been harsh. It was cetianally no more harsh than kenny miller's sending off v dundee utd which ruled him out the last old firm game.

Brown seemed to think he was zidane as he headbutted lafferty's chest. He gave the ref a decision to make, something you should not do, especially as he had been in the referees ear all game.

Gus the teenage cow celtic are not a good team at the moment but they are still miles better than a dogged yet severely limited rangers side

the more i read this the more i laugh

kilmarnock
2 up at pittodrie with 10 mins to go, aberdeen equalised in the last minute
1 up against hibs at home and lost in the last minute
drew both home and away with falkirk
3-0 down against rapid inside 20 minutes
1 nil up at tannadice and lost in the last minute

how many penalties have you missed this season? 5?

building a team for the fture - 4 loanees in the team

no leaders on the park, so many captans this season it looks like the amband being decided by a raffle in training on a friday

Yet you believe this guff that you have a good team at the moment and it is the referees fault you haven't won the league

well, if you keep thinking that, mowbray will stay another season. that would be great news!

So predictable even from me, someone who favours Celtic.

Don't embarrass yourself any further Gus. I don't buy all this "limited Rangers" stuff either. So they may not be able to make a string of 20 passes that break down before they get to the box llike Celtic at the moment, but they are taking their chances, that is the difference and why they will winthe league this season.

Move on and don't blame officials for Celtic's current shortcomings. Have some faith, things turn around very quickly and remember the so called bad times make the good times sweeter!

gus

a "must win" game for celtic yesterday

2 shots on target and 0 corners

rangers goal difference +44 celtics +22

that is why you are ten points behind

With the money youclaim to be spending you SHOULD be much better than rangers, under the current regime you are not

ok that post was written in anger

rangers deserve to win the league, their strikers can take their chances against the bad sides and their defense is a hell of a lot more solid

but honestly the standard of refereeing this season has been awful, good teams however play well enough to render bad decisions moot....so yes at the moment celtic are pish

I would still give mowbray another season though, with all the fanfare about the keane arrival (yet another striker) people didn't seem too bothered that at the last minute the transfer of ivan ramis didn't go through, that was a huge error as celtic badly need a dominant centre-half

Did I hear right yesterday that Rangers haven't paid money for a player for two seasons?
If so this is some achievement.
BTW just like Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain and Man Utd in England there is no doubt that BOTH of the Old Firm receive favourable treatment from referees when playing lesser clubs.
