He was far happier giving an interview to 5Live yesterday at the races. Given his happy demeanour and slight slurring of words I think he may have a had a sip of something to celebrate his horse winning. Thought it was odd he was talking to BBC as he's still supposed to be boycotting them isn't he?

Seems he has no choice.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be forced to give interviews to the BBC after six years of boycotting the institution under new Premier League rules to come into effect next season.
