6ft Kerplunksoggy biscuitBig Foot Is Bale better than Giggs was at 21?
Not in the same league
^^^ 'Greed, Giggs had been doing it consistently and a lot better for 3 or 4 years by the time he was 21.

Hoop Blah Giggs took a while to refine his decision making and final delivery (as do all wingers) but I'd say he was even quicker and more skillful than Bale currently.
Bale is possibly ahead of him in the quality of his balls into the right areas though. He's also stronger on the ball.
I'd have a Giggs over Bale at the moment though. If that changes in 10 years time then Bale has had an outstanding career.

rhroyal I'll give you consistency, Bale has quiet days. But a lot better? I take it you don't mean a lot better than Bale's performance last night, as that honestly has to be one of the greatest left wing performances I've seen.

georgerob Bale is good but just relies on his pace to be effective in games and is only left footed

No Fixed Abode Lets just see how Bale's career goes first. He could just be a 5 minute wonder.
Lets revisit this when he has as many medals as Giggsy.

Don't remember ever seeing ryan giggs giving two absolute poundings to the european champions both home and away like bale has done.
