It doesn't matter what other teams do, people are nit picking the other teams mentality and the mentality of our rivals opposition in whether they will turn up or not. It doesn't matter and anything could happen on the day...teams with nothing to play for often win, teams with everything to play for could win or lose. We need 4 points for promotion, more to win the league, promotion is the main goal...lets just obtain that and worry about what we do.

Thing is if they get top 2 again, will they then start feeling the pressure?

Not that it really matters, but an OG went in a while ago for their 6th.

This must be the worst weekend for Southampton. Pompey won't even be relegated today!

How could BHA play so well on Tuesday, and then capitulate so easily today? Bizarre.

Best thing about this is, of course, it gives West Ham hope, so when that hope is dashed, it will be so much sweeter....

Maybe we wore them down mentally, on Tuesday

West Ham do look strong though, Southampton must be shitting it with two away games to come

Who cares. It's in our own hands, if West Ham pick up 6 more points than us in 3 games then we'll have much bigger problems to worry about.

We have the mental strength to see this through. I wouldn't want to be a Saints fan tonight though.

I know it sounds obvious, but frankly, it doesn't matter what Wham do today as promotion is in our hands, and we can still go up on Tuesday night.

Saints must be absolutely bricking it now.

They must have been banking on the goal difference - which has now disappeared and Southampton still need 7 from their last three to be sure.

The pressure is certainly on them.

You promised to run naked on the pitch if we beat Brighton. You also fill prediction threads with annoying negativity. So it's a good job you talk rubbish!

I've been predicting "2-1 defeat 88th minute winner" for about the past 15 games now, it's tongue in cheek

But you knew that
