I'd agree the Cahil one wasn't a cynical 'tactical' foul but I also agree that it's not something we shy away from either, hence the often used phrases of 'a good foul to concede' and 'taking one for the team'.

The point that the South Americans have always been happy to do the same thing is quite right though.

Lampard was voted England player of the year in 2004 and 2005. Scholes has never won it. Some people's memories are very short. Judging Franks England career just on the latter part. :lol:

Not forgetting the fact that it was the uprising of Lampard that played a big role in Scholes being moved out to the left wing before letting his country down and retiring.
