Never understood the Pardew h8. I get that in modern day football skinny jeans wearing teenagers seem to need a pantomime villain, but he played a big part in our modern history and has always spoken well of us since he left.

Clubs, players & managers all use each others as stepping stones, he did a lot for us and moved on knowing he could do much better, and he was proven right.

genome Lot of Reading fans happy and giving Pardew stick.

Maybe it's time to move on lads.

It's not just Pardew, it's Bolasie too.

Our hatred for Palace isn't solely because of Pardew, it's based on the events of the Quarter-Final.

B#ll#cks to that. One dive doesn't override a lifetime of hating ManUre.

Ian Royal How is Clangerburg reffing the FA Cup Final? He's an abysmal referee. And demonstrating it very clearly.

Same referee rated the best in Europe?

Had a bad first half, he will learn from that.

Did I miss something in the QF? The much better team on the day won and the decisive incident was down to a naive and needless infringement by our centre back.

I mean, I hate Palace but at least it's down to something tangible like having a brick thrown at me on the way out of Selhurst Park in 87.

They were the better team, it would have been nice if they'd have won the tie through a great goal rather than Bolasie falling over like he'd been shot under the most minimal of cantact.

That is brilliant.

Just to be clear: the GIF, not its subject matter.

Next time we play a Pardew team we need to do this en masse

I was never his biggest fan but tbf to Pardew in hindsight he turned the club around and made us a competitive Championship club rather than a third tier also ran. He left in dreadful circumstances but as has been pointed out has always been complimentary about us.

Yeah, hated him for it at the time and for a while afterwards, but it was 13 years ago and there's been nothing to fuel it since from him. Although of late his teams seem to have managed to do us over under rather dodgy circumstances.

We could do with a new pantomime villain... it adds a bit of spice to proceedings and generates some atmosphere. I don't think Warnock really cuts it anymore either.

Pards was heading to Div 2 and struggling until Mad Dog came along......

.....and their subsequent managerial careers tell you everything you need to know.

Pardew brought Mad Dog in as a short, sharp shock. Astute management in my book.

LUX Delighted for Hibs, gr8 result. Watched first half in the Nags Head, sheltering from the rain.

Massive shame many of their fans overshadowed the win by acting like morons eh!?

I quite like Pardew, despite the history, but that is pretty spectacular. It probably tops Sturridge's dancing for cringeworthy-ness.

Fair play to Pards though, he's not everyone cup of tea but at least he shows a bit of passion and excitement.

Probably regrets that a bit now though!!!

I absolutely hate it when Sturridge scores a goal, as we have to endure his ridiculous, immature, stupid dance.

I can completely understand him doing the dance when he first broke into the squad, or started scoring. I can get that, but why when he is an established player has he continued in this stupid tradition.

I can't believe Liverpool fans like it, and why hasn't any of his team told him to stop is beyond me

I think it very much sums up all that is wrong with Sturridge. Such a talented player but struggles to fit into a proper team.
