Yeah, gets lost a bit after Haaland's ridiculous finish. If City can score goals like this, everyone else may as well pack up and go home.

Middle Eastern countries are affiliated to the Asian Football Conference.

Israel was expelled from the Asian Football Confederation in 1974. Israeli clubs began participating in European club competitions in 1991 and gained a full UEFA membership in 1994, hence why they compete in European competitions at club and international level.

It's not the first time something similar has happened with Israel, as they competed in the 1982 European World Cup qualifiers, before moving to the Oceanic groups for 1986 and 1990.
