Loafer why are singh shabba starting on -106?

Because they don't operate by normal rules, and seem to get away with it (or have done in the past).

Detestable bunch, who shout and scream in the officials' face from beginning to end, and do same to the opposition, plus do the arsehole thing of celebrating / laughing in their faces when they score / win. If the same crap was dished out to them you can be pretty sure they'd play the race card within a nanosecond.

Last time I saw them (in a Cup Final a couple of years ago) they had a player sent off for dissent (much to my surprise) but the bastards still went on to win.

I abhor violance on a football pitch but I would have quite fancied seeing Datchet (when they had a bunch of travellers in their ranks a few years ago) play Singh Sabba in a Cup Final. Whatever the result I suspect red mist would have descended and a few heads would have been broken along the way.

sounds like a few teams up this way

and like SE Dons and Dorking (well the manager seems to abuse officials non stop)

but they are successful and win games

Bracknell's owner posts this up on Twitter, saying it's nothing more than his vision. It looks quite a mock-up for something that's not actively being planned.

And speaking of Bracknell, they've posted their preseason friendlies....

8 July - Binfield (a)
11 July - TBC
15 July - Gloucester City (a)
18 July - Chertsey Town (a)
22 July - Jamie Cureton's Enfield Town (a)
25 July - Hartley Wintney (a)
29 July - Slough Town (a)

Also, is he perhaps suggesting his vision is ultimately to use the site currently occupied by the Leisure Centre and thus make a complete revamp of sport and leisure activities in the town.

It's where the current sports centre is. You can tell from the houses in the foreground (and looking on google maps).

The ground would be where the running track is currently, replacing historic circuit when Kevin Keegan fell off his bike during Superstars.

It's a superb vision, if the council buy into it then it'd make quite a centre piece for the town and even further afield. Perhaps they could get KK to open it!

Getting The Specials in to do a gig in the sports centre as well is sadly no longer possible.

Lateral Move Appeal Upheld- Marlow FC

Many of you will be aware that on May 15th the proposed new league structure for 2023/24 was announced. This included moving Marlow Football Club out of the Isthmian League South Central division to the Southern League Central division.

The club Directors felt that this move was unreasonable and would have a significant detrimental effect on the club. The club appealed the decision on a number of grounds, including; travel time, mileage, geographical location, and environmental impact, which did not make logical sense in comparison to other clubs that could have been considered.

The club Directors were also of the opinion that the club had been unfairly impacted by lateral moves over the last 10 years, putting the club at a significant disadvange.

The appeal was heard on Wednesday 7th June with further submissions on Thursday 8th June. Following the appeal hearing we have been informed that our appeal was upheld, noting;

"The Appeal Board unanimously allowed the appeal on the ground that the decision was one in which no reasonable such body could have come."

The club Directors wish to thank the panel and support staff for their professional handling of appeal process.

Having been in a state of limbo for the past few weeks, we are now able to proactively commence preparations for next season.

NathStPaul I don't want to say who yet but I was offered a job at a club two steps higher than I currently manage, decent local Combined Counties side. Huge commitment but I don't think I can pass up the opportunity.

Interesting.. Div 1 or prem?

Marlow’s appeal win has upset everyone bar Marlow FC :D
The Southern league and Isthmian league are both upset about now having leagues with different numbers of teams.

Well that shouldn't last long surely as they've got to replace Marlow with another club!
