Celtic supporters show their contempt for members of the British Armed Forces who took to the pitch at the end of the Emirates Cup Tournament in August 2010. The British Army is currently engaged in wars in the Middle East that are purely about oil and an inflated sense of its own imperial past. For 30 years it conducted a dirty war in the occupied 6 Counties of the north of Ireland. Among the most notorious attrocities commited by this army were the 14 innocents murdered by the Paras on Bloody Sunday and the innocents murdered in the Ballymurphy Massacre. The 6 Counties are now thankfully at peace and on their way to become part of a United 32 County Irish Republic. Do not believe the government lies about the wars in the east. DO NOT SUPPORT THE BRITISH MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT AND THE RULING CLASS WHOSE SYSTEM IT UPHOLDS.

LOL @ dirty war. Perhaps they should have their own dirty protest about the standard of hygiene in the hotel, which I happen to think is pretty good.

would this be the same brave freedom fighters who murdered and maimed innocent people in the name of some romantic notion that most of them would have trouble comprehending the facts about.

It's not 5 star, but it's certainly competitive, Floyd.

[quote="floyd__streete"]Celtic supporters show their contempt for members of the British Armed Forces who took to the pitch at the end of the Emirates Cup Tournament in August 2010. These supporters were in attendance for meaningless matches in the Emirates stadium that are purely about generating a few quid, and perpetuates its fans' over inflated perception of Celtic's significance as a club. For over 3000 years it has competed in a really piss poor league, winning many trophies in what is all too often a two horse race, followed by a procession. Sadly, when they stray outside their own competition, they are often found wanting, and perhaps this is why their fans prefer to advocate things that happened centuries before any of them were born. It's sad, but true, that those who spend their lives looking backwards usually find forwrd movement difficult, and end up going nowhere.

Edited.

No one in England wants either Celtic or Rangers, and good to see FineRain continuing to remind us why neither club should be offered a place in our leagues.

not sure if it's true but Sky Sports are planning to drop their coverage of the SPl from next season. Apparently, the Disney Channel are showing an interest.
