hiro
hiro (on 8th October 2010):
Sorry to interrupt with Non-Euro Qualify.
We, Japan have just beaten full strength Argentine in Saitama, Japan.
Messi, Teves and Mascherano played full time, but never had a clear chance to break the goal.
Japan's Okazaki scored only goal of the game in the run of the play.
Leicester’s latest signing Abe played last 20 minutes.

Argentine beat Spain a month ago, and we have beaten Argentine tonight. So can we claim the best in the world?

Maguire Hiro - Japan are the new "unofficial" football world champions:

http://www.ufwc.co.uk/

Going back to the first ever football international, this follows each winner until they lose a game, at which point the title goes to whoever beat them. Spain took the title in the World Cup final from the Netherlands. Argentina took it from Spain and now Japan have taken it from Argentina.

You're playing South Korea next...

SO THERE IS TITLE MATCH TODAY!!!

Tidyed that up a bit for you.

Whoever wins tonight, there won't be another title match until next year in the Asian Cup (?).

Thanks a lot, Maguire-san.
It was pretty much exciting match between South Korea and Japan tonight, but ended scoreless draw. So Japan has defended the UFWC title for the rest of the year.
Next title match will be held at Qatar on 9th Jan 2011. Japan will face Jordan in the Group B round match of AFC Asian Cup 2011.

Japan defended UFWC title by the stoppage time equalizer against Jordan (FIFA rank 104th) in their AFC ASIA CUP match yesterday.
VfL Wolfsburg's Hasebe's cross found VVV Venlo's Yoshida's header in the 90+min to avoid shock defeat in Japan's opening match.

So, Japan’s next UFWC/Asian Cup match against Syria (FIFA rank 107th) will be held on 13th January.

ASIA CUP FINAL between Japan and Australia will be kicked off in 20 min. Just same time as FA cup 4th round at Stevenage!
This is also another UFWC title match for Japan.
Cahill scored four times against Japan in last four meetings between them, so I hope we can keep him quiet this time to crown Asian title for fourth time.

Another little Qatar farce is ready to be picked up by the tabloids...

Fearing negative publicity over low crowds, especially for the final, the organisers took the step of opening the doors three hours early and letting locals in for free. Cue several thousand ticket holders - many of whom will have travelled several thousand miles to be there - none too pleased to find "ground full" signs up when they get there, and not be allowed in.

It is shame that one-time Scudetto winning manager Alberto Zaccheroni did not get a decent managing position in Europe in recent years and had to come to Far East to regain his coaching career.
Our entire nation is so happy to have him here and it has been a kind of magic to witness what he has archived so far with our national team. So far Maestro managed 8 matches (W5,D3,and L0) of Japan's National team since he has took over the job on last October. (It started with 1-0 Victory over former UFWC title holder Argentine). He is so magnificent in making a good relation with players and many of them thank him for giving a chance and keeping a faith on them.

His contract with Japan last another 19 months, so I really hope that we can secure his signature for 2 more years and keep him for Confederations Cup 2013 and World Cup 2014. His wage is only 200million Yen (=1.4 million pounds), so someone in Serie A or Premier league may take him with much bigger salary before that.

Well, next title match (and potential title matches) will be as follows;
25th March, VS Montenegro at Shizuoka, Japan (Kirin Challenge Cup 2011)
29th March, VS New Zealand at Tokyo, Japan (Kirin Challenge Cup 2011)
1st June, VS TBA at Niigata, Japan
7th June, VS TBA at Yokohama, Japan
2nd July, VS Colombia at Jujuy, Argentine (Copa America 2011 group A match)
7th July, VS Bolivia at Jujuy, Argentine (Copa America 2011 group A match)
11th July, VS Argentine at Cordoba, Argentine (Copa America 2011 group A match)

I hope one of natinal team from UK to come to Japan in June! (I know that it will not happen though).

Feasible that the UFWC could be in England's Euro 2012 qualifying group then....

Japan VS Chile as International A-match in Niigata, has kicked off thirty minutes ago. Referees are three English man who judged at Cardiff two weeks ago.
On behalf of all URZ, I say big thanks to team Webb through TV screen.

Japan defended the title against North Korea (1-0) on 3rd, and Uzbekstan (1-1) on 6th September.

Meantime, Official World Champion (as well as UFWC) of Woman's soccer Nadeshiko Japan defended their title agaist Thailand (3-0), South Korean(2-1), Australia (1-0) and North Korea (1-1) at qualification match to London 2012 in China this month.

It must be unusual to be UFWC title holder for both men and women by one country in same time

Japan has just lost to North Korea (0-1) tonight ending almost 17 games unbeaten run since gaining UWFC title against Argentina more than two years ago.

Sad. Very sad.

It's been a great run though, eh Hiro?

Kim Jong-Il will be thrilled that his warriors of virtue have brought home such a great prize to mighty mighy North Korea.

And all in the very same week when England actually beat the reigning world champions rather than beating a team who beat the world champions - makes it seem slightly less contrived than the route Japan took...Sweden have the chance to take the mantle tonight.

I quite like the Japan route. There's something absurdly logical about it all.
