Gus Poyet

Will Brighton's impressive manager see out the season or will he poached by a Premier or Championship club?
Doing a great job on the coast with the Seagulls it would be a shame for them to lose him what with the new stadium ( a mini Emirates) so close to completion.

I must admit, I was quite pleased with the interview he gave on Sky Sports in which he threw his hat in the ring when we had a vacancy here.

He'll obviously go on to bigger and better things eventually but I think he'll take Brighton up this season first (although it's still fairly early days).

Becoming a but of a legend down here. Would love Brighton to be starting in their new stadium playing Championship football. Us v them first game there would be awesome!

It's starting to look as though we might be playing them next season (them going up,us mid-table)and I would expect Poyet to be happy to stay there at least for the first season up.

If he takes them up then he will be "hot property" and I expect him to be linked with every available Premier League management seat until he takes one.

Looks nothing like the Emirates. One impressive three tier stand and the rest is every other new stadium.

you may mock the emirates stadium, and arsene...but at least he had the foresight to buy the trophy cabinet on a sale or return basis.

I hear that the M&E services at Falmer are going to be excellent.

Built (and overseen) by a bunch of cowboys I'd heard.

It's a good job, then, that the M&E services provider doesn't "build" anything.

I got all Frimmers on your ass. 8)

Seriously though, they seem to be undergoing a bit of a revolution down there. It'll be great to go down there next season and sing about their ground being too big for them.

Not quite sure why Brighton have built such a small ground.

That stand at the far end looks like The Dell's Triangular stand Southampton used to have. Only looks 10 rows deep!
