Weekend Football Nov 6/7

by Maguire » 06 Nov 2010 14:37

Just watching Bolton v Spurs here. Bolton went 3-0 up but Spurs have scored two quality goals - Hutton cutting in and bending a left-footer into the top corner and just now Pavlychenko smashing in a technically superb volley. Watch it on MOTD later; not far out but a brilliant connection.

Two minutes left.

I had £20 on QPR and an accumulator I have yet to check. 6-fold on home wins in the FA cup.

Not many interesting results today - Bolton prolly the highlight.

Pavlychenko's finish was sublime. Hutton's wasn't too shabby either.

Row Z Royal I think Pav's goal falls into the realm of "techers".

Is that a whiskey?

It's TEKKERS.

Murked by Brighton :x

Anyway, games today:

Arsenal v Newcastle
West Brom v Man City
Liverpool v Chelsea

Fancy Arsenal and Chelsea to be too strong today but City could struggle at the Hawthorns.

If you don't fancy Arsenal v Newcastle on Sky then there's Cardiff v Swans on BBC1. Cardiff should win but it'd be great to see Brendan get something 8)

Do the FAW still ignore shocking tackles, such as the one Chopra's just commited, if the victim is one of theirs aswell?

Terrible tackle. Although not as bad as Robbie Savage in the commentary box. I'm now watching on mute.

LOL@ John Barnes becoming a Dad in the first half and not going to meet his new kid. They must have 7 already for this not to be a big deal.
