Chelsea and Everton currently drawing 0-0 in extra time, very dull game. Will hopefully go to pens

Man Utd play Crawley Town this evening.

If you want goals, the Conference Prem looks like the place too be:

Tamworth 2-5 AFC Wimbledon
Wrexham 2-7 Gateshead

Were Wrexham playing a bunch of kids or something?

So did Ashley miss because of Johnny Heitinga's casual shove? Or would he have bottled it anyway?

There's an excellent section on this in Why England Lose. If you can't hit the target from that distance, you probably shouldn't be playing professionally. Skill, then, is a small part of it. Kuper and Szymanski argue that nerve is by far the biggest influence. Think of van der Sar in the Champions League 2008 shootout - from 9:30 here - he scares Anelka into breaking the planned pattern just by pointing. I think it's not inconceivable that Cole was riled into missing that.
