Being reported that they've been charged with seven breaches of FA regulations ...

Wow!

Doing this knowingly and submitting false documents to try and cover it up is real dynamite!

As I said on the team board, I'm sure there is a lower league precedent of losing all th epoints gained from games in which that player has played. Which would be 59, putting them on 11 in 24th position and 27 points adrift of safety.

Football League Rules 40. BREACH OF CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

40.1 Failure to comply with any of the conditions relating to a registration will render the Player ineligible to play for the Club concerned as not being a Registered Player.

40.2 Any Club playing an unregistered Player in a League Match may have three points deducted from its score and/or be liable to such other penalty as the Board may decide.

40.3 Any Club playing, in a match under the auspices of The League, a Player who is under suspension by The Football Association may have three points deducted from its score and/or be liable to such other penalty as the Board may decide.

Too woolly for my liking.

may. and/or.

three points per match or season?

Lawyer's field day...

Back in 2001 Chesterfield were threatened with a deduction of this sort over the transfer of Luke Beckett. A work colleague of mine at the time was an ardent Barnet fan and was livid that they got away with a 9-point deduction, which meant they were still promoted as champions. IIRC losing all the points gained in games where Beckett had played would have lost them 25-30 points.

Against Mr Warnock. The irony..

A couple of things in that article - the first is that QPR paid £3.5M for him

Second thing....an Argentinian? dodgy ownership? unauthorised paymetns to an unnamed agent?.......sound familiar??

Anyone else think that Kia Joorabchian may be involved????

Peppino Tirri. He's based in London and has Figo as one of his clients...and registered with FIFA.

supposedly three different owners involved. Third party ownership is common in South America.
