FA CUP. R6

by exileinleeds » 12 Mar 2011 14:27

Watching it off and on whilst working.
Had been thinking that neither of these teams would worry me unduly if we got past Citeh. Then Phillips scored Brums second.

Shit.

That goal was quite good.

Oh well, no need to worry about Phillips anymore.

Err Scunny is beating Leics. QPR is just beating Milwall. Not in a good way.

Derby is still losing. which is nice.

Trying not to include my own bias, I think Reading would've been better off with Brum than Bolton in the next round. I can really see Wanderers in the final this year.

^^ Yah rite I am and was aware, and indeed the record reflects the fact that I acknowledged as much when I mentioned it above and herein

What with a whopping three (3) quarterfinal matches to be played this weekend --aside, I take care to note, from the one that will be undergoing extensive scrutiny in The Team forum-- it only seemed reasonable to me to seek to keep all of the action under one roof

No one piped up with any objection at the time, and so there really isn't any kind of problem here, nor is there any sense in seeking to make one

United hit the ground running in the second half and go 2-0 up. Gotta be game over now.

United & Bolton through.

Pleased Utd are through over Arsenal, we've got less chance of being humiliated by them should we go through.

My thoughts were

"they can really play a bit, when did they get good?"

What I like is that at approaching 40, Phillips still clearly has *it*. There was a turn, jink and shot that hit the post that completely flatfooted three defenders. And the goal - ball drops pretty randomly and he gets it in.

Seriously, one season with him at 'Ding PLEASE
