No real surprises - QPR's business model has always been aimed at "economic cleansing." Price out the nasty, noisy. oiks.

How does this compare to other premier league clubs out of interest?

And what's it cost to get into the Mad Stad these days?

549 quid for a season ticket. Makes my 370 look good value whatever league we are in.

Shocking, and that's just @ £47. Why would you part with £72 to watch a match at Loftus Road?

You can see both goals from the £72 seats.

So, I presume away fans will have to fork out over 40 quid for the "pleasure" of sitting with their knees under their chins. No thanks. I would hope a lot of away fans would boycott the greedy barstewards too.

Aren't all London Premier League club prices dearer than for clubs in the provinces?

It gets more interesting - boardroom split over this, with the QPR vice-chairman Amit Bhatia (son-in-law of Lakshmi Mittal and Colin's main ally on the board) resigning over this pricing strategy, which is clearly the work of Briatore & Ecclestone.

Briatori is a real control freak, who has previously taken to texting the manager during games, telling him what to do - the Mittals were the ones who largely prevented this level of control-freakery.

A £30 match day ticket will cost you £58 next season, but as Foxy states, that doesn't effect me etc..

Fu*k me do the fake hoops think they are Chelsea in disguise.

Price the fans out that have supported them for the past decade during their hard times in Div 1 and the Chamionship and bring in the new suited rich brigade, great policy for football.

Glad I am not a QPR fan.

It's the way football has been going for years, LOL @ all these fans taking the moral high ground who probably still fork out hundreds a year to watch their team and have replica shirts etc.

I guess it comes down to how much is too much? But just because Reading haven't put the prices up in one large amount doesn't mean you're not also getting ripped off.
