I cant believe anyone but women and children would be interested in attending an Olympic football match.

Although it's 'London 2012', not many of the matches are in London are they.

My mother has got me tickets to two matches.

Mexico v Gabon.
South Korea v Switzerland.

As you can imagine, I am over the moon about this.

Good work m8. I got some of those too... See you there.

Smooth. Just know that trains and hotels are gonna be über expensive but sod it. Bet the atmosphere will be shocking too but at £20 each (£10 per game) you can't grumble

I think it appeals to people who like to see a match, rather than just the match of their club/country.

It's a pretty good tournament, but with GB refusing to take part for many decades, it's just not on the radar for most.

I've got tickets for the double-header at Wembley on 29th of July, featuring GB v UAE (woohoo!), but to be honest I'm not sure if I really care about any of the other games.

That's kind of how I feel about the olympics as a whole. I'm going to a few events, and I'm looking forward to those events, but I don't really care about anything else to do with the olympics.
