Was going to say teams who have played in all four divisions (or at all four levels in their various guises), but don't think West Brom have ever played bottom tier football?

Alternative guess, is it something to do with staying in/being relegated from the Premier League?

Ah, missed them as well then, although they have been non-League.

*google-o* now.

True that. Was one of the first things to come to mind, but now obviously wrong.

Closest to it.

All 3rd Division sides at the inauguration of the Premier League, yet have played in it.

Interesting. Shows the diversity of the league structure and the clubs currently in the lower tiers can rightly dream of one day emulating these smaller clubs.

I do know that us and Sheffield Utd are the only 2 teams to lose a playoff final at old Wembley, Millenium Stadium and new Wembley.

Probably* worth pointing out though that the Premier League was drawn up the season before, when Burnley and Blackpool were in the 4th division.

Looking back, signing up for the Premier League didn't do Luton Town a lot of good.

* ie probably not
