Play offs 2016/17

by double d » 04 May 2017 21:23

Tranmere will probably make the final of Nat league and most likely FGR will join after a 1-1 draw away at Dagenham and Red.
Currently got Fleetwood (who I put as going up) losing to a very good looking Bradford side. Millwall and Scunthorpe is 0-0 still.

League 2 is not decided yet but I think about 6 teams can get the last place. I feel Luton are the strongest from the lot though.

Predictions:

FGR
Fleetwood
Luton

I like the look of Exeter in League 2.

I'd love Fleetwood to it in League 1 but after last night's displays you;d probably have to side with Bradford.

Wouldn't say FGR are home and dry by any means as I think that one was very close, but Tranmere would be your favourites in the National Prem.

Millwall will be in trouble again after items being chucked on the pitch/at officials (by a child) and the pitch invasion and goading of players after the final whistle

Predictions:
Reading
Bradford
Exeter
Tranmere

Nice to see Sky setting utterly ridiculous kick off times for leagues 1 and 2. Luton to Blackpool, Millwall to Scunthorpe and Exeter to Carlisle all at half 6 on a Sunday. Whatever happened to spreading the ties out over a few days ?

Somebody really should have the bottle to tell them to go and do one.

Totally agree, but nothing will change.....money talks.

S£y have more to gain with irregular and unacceptable kick-off timings.....the less folk that can make the game....the more chance that they will subscribe and pay.......they've been killing the fan game for years but too many prawnies are already in their pockets.

Kick off times are bad enough but am sure they used to schedule them so that every game was live in it's own time slot. With L1 a week ahead as well, not sure how that wasn't do-able this time round.

Last night I assumed they were only showing one game live so endured the Fleetwood monstrosity not realising the Millwall game was being all fun 2 channels over
