Masters Football

by Y21_Royal » 15 Jun 2009 16:50

I'm not sure this is the right place for this so feel free to move it if needs be.

In between overs in the cricket yesterday I happened to flick over to see Wolves win the Midlands Masters. Their side was captained by Mick Gooding and also had Michael Gilkes. My question is this. Why do Reading not have a side? I think we could get a decent team together!

Reading would be more than willing to put a side out, however the organisers don't seem too interested in having us in it.

You laugh, he's just scored twice in a 3-0 win against Fulham

Another name from the past, Kenny Brown, has just scored for West Ham against a Spurs containing Dean Austin.

EDIT: a certain Darren Caskey has just equalised.

Was unlucky not to get player of the tournament. In about an hours worth of masters football, he looked a better player than he did in his time here.

Caskey looks good when everyone else is reduced to his fitness level shocker.
