Royalee General Football Blog

by Royalee » 15 Oct 2009 16:26

Hi all,

I've recently started up a blog on football topics in general here http://royaleeblog.blogspot.com/.

Give it a look if you like, I'd be quite interested to receive some feedback and suggestions on it provided they're constructive, the first two topics I've written about are the World Cup 2018 bids and Goal-Line Technology.

Cheers

Looks like a good read, on a cold Monday night I will give it the good and thorough read that it deserves.

Is this the same Royalee that has used expletives/insults to ram home his points on here?

To be fair, it is a remarkably well thought-out, balanced, argued blog, and it's one I shall be keeping tabs on. I've half a mind to question if Royalee actually writes it himself, but then I remembered that Ian Royal, Ideal, et al weren't also contributing.

Haha, I like to vent my frustrations on here and when I post I'm usually wound up about the game - I'd like to think I can be articulate and look at an argument from both sides when I've calmed down. Thanks for the constructive post btw.

It's a good read. One query though (pedant alert) - you state Romario scored 'well over 300 competitive goals'. I thought he hit near 1000 in his career, so what does that stat relate to?

Yep. but FIFA credited him with 920-odd goals, apparently. Tbf to Royalee, that is 'well over 300 goals', so.
