Super_horns Maybe suicide?
He had been battling an illness and lost a daughter couple of years ago.
Whatever we think of footballers in general they are human and hit by personal tragedy themselves.
Maybe all too much for this guy to take in?

Royal Rother Terribly horribly inappropriate and spectacularly unfunny. What sort of sad inadequate posts that?
A real tear-jerking story.
RIP Robert Enke

URZZZZZZZZ Now this may be me with my Upton Nervet hat on, so apologies if I offend anyone. However, regardless of their own personal circumstance, no one has the right to take their own life at the expense of endangering others. And it is this trend of thought that leads me to believe that Enke was completely in the wrong to do as he did. I'm sorry for expessing my opinion in this way, but afterall I suppose its a forum, where personal opinions can be expressed?!
I'm sorry for you being put in said predicament where you thought you needed to take your life, RIP.

Royal Rother Sometimes things reach me emotionally, sometimes they don't, but I find those pics of him with his terminally ill daughter truly soul-wrenching.
