i still haven't seen him lead though. he needs a season minimum captaining united.

Gerrard, the man who beat the shit out of someone in a club over the music?.......if Terry has to step down over an affarid, why should a thug get the band?
I personally think Frank would be the best bet, being that Rio is too injury prone at the moment.

Comfortably Numb don't assume i want terry replaced as captain. but if he was to be, gerrard would be, for me, the obvious choice. i don't care what a footballer does in his personal time. remember, we only hear about what they do when they cock up or get caught. not many of them are angels. theyre young men with a lot of money and women falling at their feet

But the point is when it IS in the public eye they have hundreds of thousands of kids looking up to them, so really they have a responsibility to come across as an angel in the media - thats why David Beckham was such a good captain.....
