"Sir" Alex Ferguson - useless whinger

by Very near...far away » 03 Apr 2010 15:30

Goes on about the Drogba goal. Says nothing about the Macheda handball goal.

Is never wrong, even when playing a wholly out of sorts Gary Neville.

Utter nob.

Drogba's offside was blatant and shouldn't have been missed. Was the handball clear cut?

It was worse than the offside.

No it wasn't. No one except those bang in front could have seen the hand ball, but the whole ground, neigh, the whole world could see that Drgoba was off side.

Dogbar must've been well offside if he stayed on his feet long enough to score without diving

I think he had every right to whinge about that decision, quite simply they should not happen at that level in such important games.

Important games or not, they just shouldn't happen.

the point is that both should have been disallowed. And what's more, one is deliberate cheating while the other probably isn't.

Just seen it on MOTD and as the Reverand says, the difference is that one is blatant cheating whereas the other is simply playing to the whistle and yet Ferguson chooses not to mention his own sides cheating (again). The man is a joke and doesn't even have the guts to face the BBC himself but sends out Mike Phelan to read out his words.

Ferguson may be a successful manager, but as a human being he is a precious, self-preening tosspot.

He refused to speak to the BBC because of some perceived slight (this from the man who regularly blasts referees who don't do what he wants them to do), he supports his players in their constant moaning, carping and criticising of officials during a game, he gets rid of anyone who doesn't defer to his bulbous-nosed eminence, and his knighthood had more to do with his "best mates act" with Blair than anything else.

Wonder if he'll ever have the guts to say anything about the Glazers' wholesale pillaging of Manchester United? Not whilst there's a quid in it for him he won't.

Considering that his personal greed was partially responsible for the Glazer's managing to take over, probably not. If he hadn't been such an avaricious old soak, he wouldn't have sued John Magnier over the stud fees for Rock of Gibraltar, and Magnier might then not have been so eager to sell his stake in Man United to Malcolm Glazer.

Oh dear human errors made by officials, how utterly sad.

Disappointing, yes, but just part of the great game and in the long run justice was done as Chavski won 2-1 instead of 1-0

Erm, I may have been watching something completely different on Sky but I thought his post-match was refreshingly fair. :|

He made no bones about Chelsea being by far the better side in the first half; didn't overstate their dominance in the second and when asked about the offside, he agreed (which aint surprising) and went on to say the officiating was poor in general for both teams, which is was.

He only responded to the questions asked of him. :|
