Goal 1-0 to Bargentina.

Free header on the penalty spot from Gaby Heinze.

1-0 after 6, could've been 3. This could be a goal fest.

An eternity of horrors over an hour and a half for the boys in green, I fear

H/T - Nigeria somehow still in it at 1-0. Great opening from the Argies but kinda took their foot off the gas for the remainder.

Maradona very animated on the touchline - could he cope (and make the right decisions) when the real pressure is on??

Liking the look of this for the Koreans who impressed me. Think they've got a good chance of making it through.

Africa needs to pin it's hopes somewhere other than Nigeria and probably South Africa on the showings so far.

Nigeria totally reinforce the stereotyping of African football: totally lacking mental strength and discipline. The marking for the goal was shocking.

Yep I think Korea have a very good chance of going through. If Argentina can get a couple of goals, Nigeria's heads will go down and then I expect Korea can get a win against Nigeria. Thing is Nigeria get to play Greece next which could put them in a better frame of mind to beat the Korean's in the last game.

The Nigerian 'keeper is a hero - keeping them in the game!

Well, keeping the scoreline down, anyway.

What an idiot that Nigerian player is, selfish and then blames someone else for his mistake when Nigeria could easily have scored!

Argentina - very pretty, not especially effective, although did require quite a few good saves from the Nigerian keeper. Question marks at the back.

Most effective and convincing performance i've seen so far.... South Korea.

Nigerian keeper edges out Messi at MOM - best African keeper I've seen in a while.

Nigerian Keeper was top top class, only reason it wasn't 4 or 5.

Despite the relative ease of the win, not impressed by an extremely iffy Argy back four - well, three centre backs plus wing-backs. Chances for Nigeria and a better team can punish Argentina. Messi was impressive. Higuain was total toilet. Milito in for him next game.
