TBM
urz13 A new LB, another CB, another striker and another CM.

Think LB is fine, Shorey and Cummings can do a decent enough job.......

Centre back, 2 centre mids and a striker i reckon

Cummings positional play was at fault for both their goals on Saturday

I'd rather go in for a LB in january. If Shorey/Harte got injured, I wouldn't feel comfortable playing Cummings there. Besides, we'll need one in the summer anyway - Harte will be gone and Shorey will only have a year or two left.

Shorey's been arguably our best player over the last few games. He's one of the few players in the team I consider genuine PL quality. Money will be better spent elsewhere.

The first goal came due to a deflection on the cross

The second goal came cos Kebe tried running through the player with the ball and lost it

Cummings positioning was fine, but he was slow to react to Routledge's run.

Gorkss' positioning was terrible and gave us no hope of playing Routledge offside

Kebe didn't really have any better option

.......bar booting it down the wing

'greed on Gorkss though, he was a good 5 yards behind the others

The deflection is irrelevant. Cummings was in no mans land and his marker in acres of space behind him where he should have been. (as has happened before).

TheSiege Arsenal are now looking at Zaha. They are known for buying cheap and selling expensive. We had the chance to do the same but, we lacked the ambition to get him, or Rhodes, or Whittingham (change names if you have other favourites!). Three top class players, taking the positions of three of our players who do not play, might have given us a different start to the season!

And all three still in the championship. We did try to go in for Zaha anyway, but I wouldn't consider £6m-£8m 'buying cheap'

Kebe could have played the Reading way and been 'more direct'.
