No big loss and were we ever really interested in signing him? As next to nothing is coming out of the club I am not really sure who can possibly know which players we hope to sign.

A player transfer has four stakeholders - the selling club, the buying club, the player, and the player's agent. Just because we are not saying anything doesn't mean the other stakeholders can't

Out of interest are you basing your opinion on his stats? I have never looked at stats so I just wondered if they’re reliable in terms of whether a player is any good or not. I have never heard of Clare tbh and I wonder if Charlton offered him a new deal?

All I've got to go on.
Age - coming into his prime.
Experience - lots of it at L1 level
Passing stats - decent
Gets the odd goal and assist - plus point for a defender
Tackling stats - decent.
Interceptions - ok.
Solid average ratings - for Houndy.
I think stats for individual things are very useful and can build a picture. I think the calculated ratings based on a collection of different stats are pretty iffy. I'd prefer watching them play a bunch, but I don't put the time into watching football other than Reading games and I rarely remember what opposition players do from game to game.
blythspartan I have noticed that Bradley Dack is a free agent now. I know he’s had some injury problems but would he be worth a punt? He’s still only 29.

That would be a real shame because he'd standout in L1 as well.
