Jeez....Mooney hasn't even played for the first team and you have written him off. Besides I would prefer Leeeeeeroy in the side over Harewood and there is also young Simon Church. Of course a lot of these guys are unproven. So what? So were Kevin Doyle, Dave Kitson and Noel Hunt at this level. lets give them a chance and if they dont make the grade fair enough...but give them the opportunity that Simon Cox didn't get.

Just because he was valued at £3m in the summer doesn't mean he'll still be valued anywhere near that come Jan - given that he's only played about half of Rangers games and the current economic climate.

Doubt it's a player we'd move for but that's a different matter entirely.

If Doyle were to go in January I'd be very pleased with a move for Nugent as a like for like replacement and a sign that the club was really looking to keep up the momentum we're building at the moment.

As for Lita being better than Nugent, I can't agree with that. He might be a little more spectular, but Nugent is the better alround player and more consistent goal scorer.

We cannot begrudge him a move but if he carries on scoring for fun I hope we hold out for £10M. Why accept any less as he is still in contract for another 18 months.

I also hope we then re-invest at least half of it!
