SPECULATION - Jamie Ward

by biscuitroyal » 29 Jun 2014 01:03

Apparently a number of Championship clubs are interested:

Understand I'll probably get a lot of stick with being a newbie, but Reading are in search of strikers and Ward had a solid season with Derby. Could do a lot worse IMO.

I thought he was easily Derby's most impressive performer against us last season - would be a great addition.

Was good for the first 20 minutes of the home game but then Obita got a hold of him and he lost his threat. Good championship player though and would be a decent addition.

Surprised that he is only 28 as he seems to have been around for ages.
Would definitely improve our squad and bring something different.
