Erm, no. If you go to a auction house, they usually say "I'll start the bidding at".......now, they're not selling their own item, but somebody elses......so go figure.

Must be celebrating Kerry Dixon's 25 goals that season.

Hard work for the ball boys back then with all that space behind the goals and those cars to contend with.

Even more so when the ball went into the stand and there was no-one there to throw it back.

S'OK - I was in front of the East Stand, level with the penalty area.

That season only the East Stand was open for the first 8 league games as punishment for the "disorder" at the Middlesbro play off final home leg.
I was on the BBC news on the pitch at Stamford Bridge after that play off game. I managed to burn half my face as the sun was so strong from the left...I was half man half radish by the time I was skipping around the penalty area smiling for the camera!!
Cuddly Ken took such offence to the MOTD cameras being used to make a 6 O clock news story, rather than the original purpose of filming the highlights for MOTD that night that he stopped the footage of the match being broadcast that evening. How times have changed in terms of the power being with Sky and not with the clubs anymore.....
CFC as was then no longer exists, so that video could be of another club really.
