Situated in the lovely, quiet, lakeside village of Huelgoat, our comfortable, traditional granite Breton house. Located 45 minutes south of the ferry port at Roscoff & 45 minutes east of the airport in Brest. The village is in the centre of the ancient forest and national park of this fascinating region. The house sleeps x 6 in two double and one twin bedded rooms and there is a patio in the small rear garden for bbq's and the odd glass or three! An ideal base from which to explore the moors, forests, beaches, villages & towns within easy, picturesque drives. Alternatively hang up the car-keys and take advantage of the many local cafes, restaurants & bars in the village. There are supermarkets, shops, traditional bakeries, a cinema and swimming pool within walking distance as the house is centrally located. Mates rates for nobbers & Reading FC's genuine football fraternity. Pictures of the house may be viewed on http://www.mayer-immobilier.com and the reference number is M882-2914161 on page 161

Tokyo Sex Whale I want the house on the homepage.

Very nice place, overlooking the lake would make a really good commercial premises, bar, restaurant, B&B etc, its all the money though!

Having stayed in the house about 18 months ago I can personally endorse this lovely place! Plenty of room for our family of five.

We stayed for a week and it was a really good place as a base for exploring Brittany, the house is great and you can walk to bars, restaurants and shops etc.

Looks like a lovely village it's in, nice gaff too I'm sure.

But that website is appalling (assume it's not yours!). One of the ugliest I've seen, at least since the demise of Geocities.

I've been requested by pm to give a price guide,

Usual Low Season £250.00 per week with (linen & towels & keyholder charge included)
RFC'S Mates-Rate £150.00 per week when you provide your own linen & towels
Usual Mid Season £350.00 per week with (linen & towels & keyholder charge included)
RFC'S Mates-Rate £250.00 per week When you provide your own linen & towels
Usual High Season £450.00 per week with (linen & towels & keyholder charge included)
RFC'S Mates-Rate £350.00 per week when you provide your own linen & towels

On all occasions we ask that you leave the house as clean and tidy as you would expect to find it, (the keyholder is NOT a housekeeper) he is for security, assistance and to change the linen & towels for those choosing to pay for the additional service.

With full occupation (x6) from Saturday to Saturday, this equates to a nightly rate, which starts at a little over £4.00 a night and even in high season is only £9.70 per person!

Extended bookings will provide further savings, (last year six teachers stayed for the whole summer) one met and is planning to marry a guy she met on holiday! however we can't guarantee anything beyond good value for money :D
