They had borderline success, headline slots at Basingstoke Live, Camden Barfly, Jericho, Half Moon in Putney, played at Brixton Academy, supported White Sunday, The Mentalists, The Beat and The Alarm, were about to release their first single, then two of them get their respective women plum duff and the rest, as they say, is history.
