My season ticket (ticket for Darlington) is in South Africa

by Toon Toon Blue army » 19 Sep 2006 17:01

My old man put both our season tickets in his wallet which he brang with him to South Africa, where he is now. Will I still get in tonight if I just go to the ticket office and quote my customer number and they give me a paper ticket? Or will they be a bunch of w@nkers and make me pay on the day?

just go to the ticket office and say you have forgot your season ticket.
Or if you sit in the East stand then go to East stand ticket collection.

I have done it many a time and they just print you out a paper ticket for the game.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it's sort of relevant in a way..... just a quick Q relating to member cards for tonights cup game.

I have my season ticket/member card for tonights game, but because i was too late in buying a ticket my normal seat is gone - I have had to get a seat in a different Stand. I have just bought this online but received no email confirmation or any proof. Do i need to go to the office to get a paper ticket, or do I just use my card on the gate as i would on a league game in my normal stand? (i dont have anything as a print out to prove the seats i've bought, or if its successfully been processed). Rang the club but in a big queue so havent waited, and i've also left an email.

Any info would be great! :D

erm...

not sure bout that! never tried to use another persons ticket.

as long as you tell them the seat number and row customer number etc. then you should be ok.

Your member card will get you into whichever stand you have a seat (mine did when I got tickets for the England game late on after my usual seat was taken).

Although there are likely to be plenty of seats in the area tonight, you should really go to the ticket office and ask them to confirm what your seat is.

Normally an email is sent to confirm but they've had server problems recently so it may have got lost without them realising (there's a surprise).

Go to the gate/stand where you bought your ticket and go in.

If it doesnt work find a nice lady in a red coat who will scan your card and tell you its not loaded on the door and send you off to the TO. At the TO they will try to convince you that you card is faulty as they can see your booking on their system and kindly give you a new card and new number for free as long as you surrender the old one. You can then watch that game, but they'll forget to enable your new card and move the points across. Simple.
