Moving a season ticket seat for a game

by Starry Blue Hooped Wonder » 21 Sep 2006 12:17

OK, I've moved my season ticket seat for the Charlton game so I can take my son along. The young man in the ticket office says it has all been done - but I'm always anxious that they may not know what they are doing.

Can someone who has done this before let me know if I should get any other confirmation that this has been done successfully? I don't want to turn up and find my young son gets into the north stand and I don't.

Thanks.

Ive never moved my ST but how about phoning or emailing the TO - just tell them that you cant remember the seat number that you have been moved to and ask then to confirm it.

AFAIK if you do this then they issue you with a paper ticket.

I once moved my ST to the South Stand, I too was anxious that they had done everything properly. I didn't bother checking and it turned out alright in the end. Have faith in the Ticket Office!

Ditto - I did it a number of times last season so that I could take my girlfriend along with me. Never had any problems.

Thanks for the replies - I'm probably worrying over nothing, but have eMailed member services to check my seat number for the game as suggested by royalflush.

I moved to a different stand on Tuesday and apart from being given a piece of paper with the seat numbers on when I booked I also got a text on Tuesday giving me the seat numbers again. Maybe not a lot of help today but ...

I've done this lots of times and funnily enough it seems to depend on who does the transaction in the TO (sorry SC... !) it either goes on your ST or you get a paper ticket...

Incidentally, I have such a paper ticket for Man U (... and Charlton of course... ) and note that we are back to using the electronic tag type and not the barcode type now??
