United clearly have a better first eleven than Reading but Ferguson has made highly questionable team selections for away games against the Premiership's "lesser lights" in recent years. Think the losses at Portsmouth and Norwich. I think he is likely to rest key players with an eye on their CL game in Benfica (next Tuesday), so I reckon we've got a better shout than most pundits are giving us credit for.
Optimistic and proud forecast: A weakend United team and a fast Reading start - shock 2-1 win.
Royals out at 7.4 for the win on Betfair, that's pretty decent odds IMO - we've not lost at home for a year and we won't be playing the first team.
