Bus Services - Wokingham!

by amdocsroyal » 24 Oct 2006 23:12

So dont hold your breath - but there are finally transport considerations for us low lifes in surrounding Reading Areas - includng Wokingham ..
Bus services day to day are pretty sparse at the best of times to Reading and back so (hopefully ) this is an option open to us.
Woosehill to Reading return please every home game - add it to my season ticket booking http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10306~917221,00.html

A bus service from Wokingham would be great and I would use it BUT what would happen if the bus was full when it got to your stop. Chances are you'd miss the game. That's the only thing that worries me.

But then you still have to arse about getting to the stadium. When they sort out the pub situation at the ground, then they'd be more of a reason to get on that bus!

Wokingham Royals can catch the Thames Travel bus that goes along the Shinfield Road, jump off at Forster Wheeler and jump on a Park and Ride bus.

Alternatlively, jump on the train to Reading and get the station shuttle service to the Mad Stad.
