On like for like matches we seem to be more expensive than many of the "big" clubs

They must shift them or I guess they would't buy them

Doesn't this contravine rules on ticket touting?

No - they are touts. Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act (1994)

1) it is an offence for an unauthorised person to sell, or offer for sale, a ticket for a designated football match in any public place to which the public has access, or in the course of a trade or business, any other place.

2)
(a) a person is unauthorised unless he is authorised in writing to sell tickets for the match by the home club or by the organisors of the match

So, basically, its an illegal site and they are touts - hence the inflated price.

I've done that with a couple of touting websites that have appeared on the Google ads on mine.

Wouldn't mind betting that the tickets these places sell are coming via official channels somewhere along the line.

Anyone know whether the likes of the FA/Premier League can lay claim to any tickets from clubs for ordinary games?

Surely clubs wouldn't keep back some seats to sell to agencies at a higher price, would they?

£115 (plus VAT) for Reading - Wigan? That's hilarious.

Liking that ad for Chicago though.

These sites don't actually have many of the tickets they sell. If you buy a ticket through them they start trying to get one.

If they can't get hold of a ticket (or if they can't make any profit out of it) they'll come up with some lame excuse and might refund you.

Frankly anyone who buys any tickets through channels like this is a mug of the highest order.
